The National Bushfire Conference 2026, presented by Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia), is the nation’s leading forum dedicated to practical bushfire planning, design and risk mitigation. Under the theme “Designing the Fire-Ready Future,” the conference will bring together practitioners, policymakers, researchers and industry leaders to explore how Australia can build safer, more resilient communities in the face of increasing bushfire risk.
Registration options:
Day 0 - BPAD Workshop (Optional Add-On) Tuesday 27th October

As a key pre-conference feature, we will host a dedicated half-day BPAD Workshop on Tuesday afternoon, specifically designed for BPAD-accredited practitioners and industry peers. This focused session will provide a platform to explore the challenges, grey areas, and emerging issues within bushfire planning practices.
Held immediately before the official conference opening, the BPAD Workshop will be an opportunity to improve both consistency and confidence in BPAD practice across jurisdictions.
