Workshop Calendar
FPA Australia holds workshops in every state at regular
intervals throughout the year and, while all courses are delivered
via self-study, students can book into an assessment workshop and
complete the practical parts of assessments as well as using the
time to complete some of the written assessments.
The workshops are structured so that participants are given an
opportunity to not only be judged on practical assessments but also
partake in some hands-on maintenance of portable fire equipment .
An adequate amount of information mainly on portable fire equipment
is provided in a classroom setting where students can brainstorm
together and complete their written open-book assessments.
There is no extra cost to attend a workshop on top of the stated
fees for each unit, and if students are unable to complete all of
their assessments they are welcome to attend future workshops in
order to finalise outstanding assessments.
