CPP30811 Certificate III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing
Overview
This course is designed for fire protection technicians
responsible for installation, commissioning and complex servicing
of fire protection systems, or supervision of fire protection
services work.
Entry Requirements
The course is designed for those that are either;
- Currently work in the fire protection industry and have
specific experience as outlined in the Overview
- Currently work in the fire protection industry and have access
to an experienced mentor that can provide on the job training in
the specific areas of Enrolment
It is recommended that students are able to demonstrate
Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 3 of the
Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).
Duration & Structure
12 - 18 months
Self-paced study including completion of a Remote Video
Practical Assessment or attending a Practical Assessment Session
(if available) within the designated timeframe.
Outcomes & Pathways
On successful completion of CPP30811 Certificate III in Fire
Protection Inspection and Testing, students will be awarded a
Qualification. A Statement of Attainment will be issued to students
who partially complete the Certificate.

- Queensland Building & Construction Commission (QBCC) Fire

Victoria)
- Fire Protection Permit (Tasmania)
