Need Qualified EAHL by December 2014? Get Up To Speed & Save

 

The  Fire Protection Industry (ODS & SGG) Board has notified all technicians holding an EAHL Entitlement 1-5 that, from 1 December 2014, the EAHL Experienced Persons Licence will no longer be available for new applicants or for renewals.

 

FPA Australia is assisting technicians to gain the competencies required for EAHL Qualified Persons Licence 2 & 3 before their current Experienced licences expire. The Association is offering a special discounted enrolment into the units of competency required for EAHL Qualified Persons Licence 2 & 3, from 1 April - 30 June 2014, with assessment before December 2014.


Usually priced from $3000 - $3315 (depending on membership level), FPA Australia is offering these units for a fixed price of $2500 for FPA Australia Corporate members and $2950 for other members and non-members. No further discounts or vouchers apply.


A deposit payment is required to secure your enrolment and all payments must be finalised before 30 June 2014.

CPP20511 Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing

 

 

CPP20511 Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing is provided for fire protection technicians responsible for non-trade installation and regular servicing of fire protection equipment and systems. This qualification is suitable for FPA Australia members and non-members, and those requiring licences for the QLD Building Services Authority (BSA) Fire Occupational Licences.

CPP30811 Certificate III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing

 

For fire protection technicians responsible for non-trade installation, commissioning and complex servicing of fire protection systems or for supervision of fire protection services work, the CPP30811 Certificate III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing is the appropriate qualification. This qualification is suitable for FPA Australia members and non-members, and those requiring licences for the QLD Building Services Authority (BSA) Fire Occupational Licences and the ODS&SGG Extinguishing Agents Handling licences.

Individual units

 

If you would rather undertake individual units than enrol in a full qualification then you will want to enrol using the Individual unit enrolment form. Once you hold the right combination of units, you will be awarded a qualification. Please read the Training Handbook under the Training Information tab on this website before using the following form to enrol in individual units of competency. This option is available for FPA Australia members and non-members.

For fire protection technicians who are wanting to upgrade their Extinguishing Agents Handling licences from the experienced licence to the qualified licence, or for those wanting to gain a qualified licence initially, the following enrolment form is suitable. This option is available for FPA Australia members and non-members.

Recognition of prior learning

 

For those technicians who have developed a depth and breadth of experience and knowledge of the fire protection industry, the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process can be a faster way to gain a valuable unit of competency. This option is available for FPA Australia members and non-members.
