The purpose of the Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme (FPAS)
Refund Policy is to provide clear information for individuals who
have registered or are applying to become registered to attain
accreditation in Fire Systems Design (FSD) and Fire Safety
Assessment (FSA) categories under the Fire Practitioner
Accreditation Scheme (FPAS) and wish to obtain a refund.
Version AL001V002.1 clarifies what falls under the scope of this
policy, and what impact this policy has on employers.

Inspection and Testing Accreditation Policy is to provide
information to individuals seeking accreditation in one (1) or more
of the ten (10) Inspection and Testing categories as part of the
Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme (FPAS) introduced on 1 July
2013.

Renewal Policy is to provide clear information for individuals who
have registered or are applying to become registered to attain
accreditation in Fire Systems Design (FSD) and Fire Safety
Assessment (FSA) categories under the Fire Practitioner
Accreditation Scheme (FPAS) and require to renew their
accreditation.

individuals seeking accreditation in one (1) or more of the 36 Fire
Safety Assessment (FSA) measures, or one (1) or more of the three
(3) Fire Systems Design (FSD) categories, as specified in the Fire
Protection Accreditation Scheme (FPAS) introduced on 1 July
2020.
