WA Bushfire Planning Seminar

Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) is pleased to announce the upcoming WA Bushfire Planning Seminar on 19 September 2019. This one-day event will cover the bushfire planning system in Western Australia, with expert speakers exploring a range of topics throughout the day, including:


  • How to build a house in Bushfire Prone areas;
  • What is bushfire fuel and how it is maintained;
  • Demystifying the Biodiversity Act;
  • Demystifying design and compliance to AS3959-2018; and
  • Project BAL Building.

This event is tailored to bushfire consultants, urban planners, building surveyors, local government planning staff and anyone interested in bushfire planning and building.
The WA Bushfire Planning Seminar will feature expert speakers, and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions, engage with industry stakeholders and network with bushfire consultants, government agencies and key stakeholders.


Attendees will receive 22 CPD points, and lunch and morning/afternoon tea will be provided.
