New Sydney Training Centre Operational


FPA Australia's new training centre will deliver is first training sessions from early November.


Part of a major organisational expansion and FPA Australia's vision that all individuals will be 'fit-for-action' (trained, competent and accredited) by 2020, the entre is conveniently based at Mascot, close to Sydney's domestic airport.


The new facility is one of only a few training centres in Australia focused on wet systems (including sprinklers, hydrants and pumps) as well as detection & alarm systems, special hazard systems and passive fire protection.


"The need for dedicated fire protection training facilities  in the industry is well overdue and we are thrilled to be able to provide this service to the industry " said FPA Australia CEO Scott Williams.


"In the future we anticipate further expansion and the ability to provide similar training experiences at facilities around the country."


"As the industry matures and becomes more professional, it is important that, as the industry peak body, we take a leadership role and help raise the level of competence within the industry
