Chris Orr - Group Engineering Services Manager, Brooks Australia

Chris has a Master of Fire Safety Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Design for Bushfire Prone Areas, sits on a number of Standards Australia committees and brings to FPA Australia a wealth of knowledge on many facets of the industry. Mr Orr is also the FPA Australia Technical Director, overseeing all technical work undertaken by the Association as well as FPA Australia Vice President and an observer on the Board of FPA New Zealand.

 

David Isaac - Manager, Fire and Safety Technologies Pty Ltd

David is the business Principal and Director of Fire and Safety Technologies Pty. Ltd. and a Consulting Associate with Cee3 Pty. Ltd. David has more than 46 years' experience in electrical systems design installation and commissioning for building services, heavy industrial installations and essential services systems including fire detection, smoke hazard management systems and warning systems.

 

Keith Shinn - Business Development Manager - Pacific, Honeywell Security & Fire

Keith is the current chairman of ISO/TC21/SC3 Fire Detection and Alarm committee as well as convener of several active working groups. Keith has been a strong supporter of ISO fire standards for many years and championed the introduction and adoption of the ISO 7240 suite as Australian standards in 2004.

 

Kjell Jawerth - FP-002 Committee Member, Standards Australia

Kjell has been in the electronics industry for 53 years including 42 years in the fire detection industry starting the latter as R&D Chief Engineer of Wormald Electronics. With Tyco he has since held positions of Technical Product Manager and Technical Manager Standards. Kjell represented the FPA-Australia (as chair of TAC2) for more than 20 years on the Standards Australia committee FP-002 and currently Engineers Australia.
