FPA Australia has recently delivered an initial trial of a new training course aimed at those individuals who wish to achieve a Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing. The course is aimed at providing fire protection technicians a different pathway in obtaining their qualifications, where only self study had been offered previously.

Unemployment rate April 2015

The Labour Force figures for April 2015, released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics on Thursday 7th May 2015 show thatseasonally adjusted Unemployment increased by 0.1% from 6.1% (March 2015) to 6.2% (April 2015).

Fire Doors - Negligence

The ACT Court of Appeal has upheld a decision of the ACT Supreme Court and dismissed an Appeal with costs against the Appellant in a matter where it was claimed that the owner of a premises was negligent in failing to install a window in the relevant fire door.

Enterprise Agreement Coercion
