Calling for trainers!  


An opportunity has arisen for a Trainer and Assessor, to deliver Certificate II and III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing, at the National Office of FPA Australia in Blackburn North, Victoria and in the field.  


As a member of the Training team you will play a vital role in the delivery of quality training and assessment.  


Responsibilities include:  


  • High quality delivery of training and assessment in accordance with ASQA and AQF standards
  • Assist in the development and improvement of training courses and materials
  • Assist students and members in determining their training needs
  • Promote training services provided by FPAA and assist with training queries


To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes (Key Selection Criteria):  


  • Must hold TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Certificate II or III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing
  • Current industry experience
  • Highly organised and results focussed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to work independently and contribute to a cohesive team
